Nicko photo has been an unbelievable new addition to the surf school over the last few years. He’s a super friendly, really funny, outgoing guy as well as a fantastic photographer.
Nick first picked up a camera to document the wonderful places he was visiting while working for the Navy. He fell in love with the ocean, and after six and a half years working at sea, he left the Navy and jumped ship to study underwater filmmaking in Asia. After traveling extensively through Asia documenting marine life and surfing, his passion for ocean photography grew.
Nicko is now based between Devon and Cornwall where he specialises in water photography, capturing shots of surfers all over the south west coast.
This is Nicks third year as the resident surf-photographer with Surf Saunton, each year better than the last!
We are the only school that has a consistent photographer on location AND that gets in to the water with you. Nick takes his camera in a professional waterproof housing to capture shots of you up close and personal. He can cover all ability levels whether its in the shallows on your first ever wave or if its outback catching unbroken waves.
Once your lesson is finished you can view all your shots immediately after. Prices start from £10 for an individual shot with deals on the more photos you want buy. Please see price list below for all deals.
Nick has been shooting professionally for the last 6 years and have had my work featured in many international magazines and publications inc CARVE , ONION, WAVELENGTH and ZIGZAG.
