Terms & Conditions of Sale - Surf Saunton

Terms of Sale and Cancellation policy:

If cancellations are made WITHIN 72 HOURS of the booking date no refunds/rearrangements will be issued. If you’d like to cancel prior to 72 hours of your booking date a credit note/rearrangement will be offered to a date that suits you. This will be valid for two years. Surf Saunton reserves the right to postpone or cancel any surf lesson due to any events such as; flat spells, adverse weather conditions or heavy seas. If conditions are too dangerous, including high winds or heavy seas we will look to rearrange the session for preferential days or alternatively issue a credit note which will remain valid for 2 years. If the surf is flat, Surf Saunton will provide Stand up Paddle boarding lessons or alternatively do our best to reorganise your lessons to a preferential day with better conditions. Or again, issue a credit note which will remain valid for 2 years. No refunds will be issued for the reasons raised above.

Please note if you are concerned about missing a lesson for personal reasons such as injury/traffic we recommend clients take out the necessary insurance prior to booking. No refunds will be given if a cancellation occurs due to such reasons. Insurance can provide full refunds if the reason falls within the terms and conditions of your policy. Whilst the greatest care is taken, Surf Saunton are not responsible for injuries or medical expenses, personal accident, non-refundable surf lesson costs, loss or damage of property/equipment whilst with Surf Saunton or undertaking a service/activity that Surf Saunton provide. We do not take responsibility for loss or damage of your personal property no matter how caused.

All surfing participants must be able to swim for at least 25 meters unassisted.

Security and Privacy Statement

Information collected by Surf Saunton is personal information, as defined by the Privacy Act 1998. This data includes your first name, last name, email address, telephone number and any medical conditions or special requirements.

How the information is used:

Surf Saunton uses your personal information so you can identify yourself when making an online booking or registration, to contact you about a specific booking or registration, and to keep you informed of events that may be of interest to you. Your personal information is not used for commercial purposes and is not distributed to any other organisation for any purpose.

Surf Saunton will:

  • Only use customer data to make arrangements for customer’s trips
  • Not use customer data for its own interests
  • Not pass on data to third parties except to confirm travel arrangements for customers
  • Confirm that all data will be securely transferred and stored in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
  • Confirm that information will not be kept unnecessarily once a customer has completed activities.
